In a bid to sustain their push for the Serie A crown, AC Milan has signed Former Bayern, Athletico Madrid, and Juventus Star, Mario Mandzukic.
The Club and the Striker have agreed on a deal that runs till the end of the current 2020/21 season. It also provides an option for an extension for a further 12 months.
Club and Country History
Mario Mandzukic was born in Croatia (Slavonski Brod) on May 21, 1986. He started his professional career in 2004 with NK Marsonia before joining NK Zagreb and GNK Dinamo Zagreb.
In the Summer of 2010, he moved to Germany to play for VfL Wolfsburg (60 appearances and 20 goals) and then for Bayern Munich (2012-2014) where he made 88 appearances and scored 48 goals.
He moved before the 2014/15 season and played for Atletico Madrid scoring 20 goals in 43 appearances before joining Juventus FC.
In his five seasons with Juventus(2015-2019), he made 162 appearances in all competitions and scored 44 goals.
By January 2020, he joined Qatari side Al-Duhail and has 2 goals in 10 appearances.
He is also the second-best scorer ever on the Croatian national team with 33 goals in 89 games (behind Davor Suker at 45).
