Popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, recently joined the ongoing bants on social media about stingy associations and showed her interest in joining the one for ladies.
In recent times, the Nigerian social media space had been buzzing with jokes and threats from men who joined the Stingy Men Association of Nigeria (SMAN).
It largely had to do with men being stingy and not being available for any billing, especially from women.
In reaction to the trend, ladies on social media also formed theirs known as the Stingy Women Association of Nigeria (SWAN), and their motto was ‘do not open’.
Controversial media personality, Toke Makinwa, expressed her interest in the association on her Twitter page. She asked about how to join the close legs association.
In a subsequent tweet, she said she was listening to Shina Peters’ song about money for hand and back for ground.
A concerned fan, Nita, said that Toke was setting herself up to be dragged on the streets of Twitter. The media personality replied that she did not care what the men thought.
