Trader Hit By Stray Bullet In Enugu Over Tussule For COVID-19 Palliative

Following the looting of undistributed COVID-19 palliatives across the country, it was discovered by the residents that there were palliatives stored up at Queen’s Secondary school at the WTC estate, Enugu.

As residents stormed off to loot the food items, a young man who sells fuel was hit by stray bullet, claimed to be fired by security operatives to dissipate the crowd.

According to a shop owner in the area, the deceased was not part of the mob that attempted to break into the school.

A graphic video posted by eyewitnesses shows the deceased gasping for breath before he passed away.

Sen. Chijinke Ugwuanyi confirmed that the WAEC hall of Queens College had once served as warehouse for COVID-19 palliatives.

“There is no palliatives at the moment inside Queens secondary school Enugu” he added
